St. Stephen’s Food Fair: The parish priest Fr. Glenville Edwards and Parishioners invite us to their Whit-Monday food fair at St. Stephen’s on Monday 25th May 2015 at 2:00pm. Come and sample the dishes prepared. Entrance to the grounds is $5.00 adults $3.00 children.

THANKS TO DOK/WA: The DOK/WA held an afternoon of fun and games for the youth of the parish at the Deanery grounds on May 14th Ascension Day from 4:00pm. The children who attended had a wonderful afternoon. We express gratitude to the DOK/WA who organized the event.

FUNERAL NOTICE: Please note that effective now there must be no more than five tributes at a funeral. These with the eulogy must not exceed one hour. Once the hour has expired, the remaining tributes will be omitted. Persons wishing to have more time for tributes can arrange to have the tributes separately at an additional cost for the organist and sexton.

SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATIONS: Parents who wish to obtain scholarships for their children should collect a form from the office. Please note that all questions must be answered. The Scholarship Committee will determine those eligible for scholarships.

MAY THEY REST IN PEACE: We express heartfelt condolences to the families of our departed loved ones: Roma Creque-Hodge whose funeral will be at St. Andrew on Tuesday 2nd June at 2:30pm, Anique Ford on Wednesday 3rd at 2:30pm St. Andrew, Marie Lewis on Thursday 4th at 10:00am St. Andrew, and Mavis Jonas at All Saints on Thursday 4th at 2:00pm. May their souls rest in peace.

FAMILY LIFE COMMITTEE MEETING: Members of the Family Life Committee are invited to a meeting at the Deanery on Wednesday 27th May 2015 at 5:15pm.

ANDREW DISTRICT MEETING: Members of the St. Andrew’s District are invited to a meeting at the church on Monday 1st June 2015 at 6:00pm.

LINE DANCING RESUMES: Line dancing resumes at the Antigua Girls High School this Friday and every Friday from 6:30pm. The cost per session is only E.C.$10.00. Interested persons should get in contact with Fr. Raliville Christian.

Take-away dinner: The St. James District Committee invites everyone to its annual Whit-Monday Dinner at St. James church hall, Cedar Grove on Monday 25th May 2015 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm. Tickets are EC$ 20.00. Come and be filled. Proceeds in aid of church restoration.

FOOD FAIR COMMITTEE MEETING: Members of the Food Fair Committee, Stall Holders and Assistants are invited to a final meeting at the Deanery on Tuesday 26th May 2015 at 5:15pm. Kindly attend to review the final arrangements – grounds layout, tent allocations etc.

Food fair tickets: We are appealing to members to assist in the selling of tickets for the annual food fair. If every member sells five tickets we will reach our target in sales. Kindly note that there will be gate prizes, so do encourage your friends to buy a ticket. They may just be lucky.

Fathers’ day breakfast: As part of their fund raising effort towards the restoration of the Cathedral of St. John, ACWA will host a breakfast at St. Andrew on Fathers Day – June 21. Tickets are now available at the cost of $10.00.

Trinity Sunday combined service: The Antigua Regional Council invites everyone to its Trinity Sunday combined service on Sunday 31st May 2015 at Splash, Fort James beginning at 8:30am. Persons are encouraged to bring a picnic lunch and stay for the after sessions. Games will be provided for the children. Collect your envelope.

Credit union: Help to make the Anglican Credit Union a reality. Sign up as a member, and later purchase a number of shares. The cost for membership is EC$100.00 and forms are available at the church or Deanery.
