Education Corner: We have been looking at relationships in the work place. We affirm that it is required of every worker to (1) Smile and say good morning (2) Say thank you (3) Listen and keep an open mind(4) fulfil your commitments (5) Be friendly and today we look at (6) Be an Example. Our human nature is to treat others as they treat us. If they talk behind our backs we talk behind theirs. If they refuse to help us out, we refuse them help. It doesn’t take an advanced degree to figure out that approach doesn’t foster good working relationships. But God calls us to a higher standard. In Luke 6: 31, Jesus says that we should, “Do unto others as you would have them do unto you” Don’t let circumstances, people, or personalities prevent you from setting an example and maintaining a positive, loving attitude towards your co-workers.——————————————————————————–
