WORSHIP Bible study: Please note that our final Bible Study before Lent is on Tuesday 10th at 5:30pm at St. Anthony and 6:00pm at Bethel Good Shepherd and St. Andrew.
District Committee Meeting: Because of the funeral on Wednesday 11th February the Good Shepherd District committee will now meet on Thursday 12th February at Good Shepherd church at 5:30pm.
Sacrificial giving: An invitation is extended to persons who have not been contributing to the financial scheme of the church to consider giving a weekly offering to God and His church. The church in the Province of the West Indies declares as one of the duties of every Christian is “giving money in support for God’s work”. A number of Stewardship boxes is still available, why not register with your pew leader today? God loves a cheerful giver.
St. Andrew: Please support our various fund-raising activities for the Restoration of the Cathedral: Sweet Stall at St. Andrew after Mass on 15th February. Valentine Love Notes on Valentine Sunday on 15th February. Lunch at the D.W.L.C.C car park on 31st March, 11:00am – 2:00pm. Give Thanks To God: On 12th April , all are encouraged to give thanks to God by giving a dollar for each year of your birth. PLEASE NOTE: Lunch tickets will be available for only E.C. $15:00. Get your tickets now from any member of the District Committee.
May THEY rest in peace: The funeral of Carden Clarke will be at St. Paul’s church on Monday 16th February at 2:30pm. The funeral for Grathel Richards will be at St. Andrew on Wednesday 11th February at 2:00. May their souls rest in peace.
Technical Helpers Required: Technical assistants are required to assist with the operation of the projector during the Masses at St. Andrew on Sundays. Interested persons should contact either Ms. Joycelyn Hughes, Ms. Chantel Croft or Mr. Bruce Arrindell. Remember that the service you give is to Christ and His Church.
Work Morning At Cathedral: Members of the Parish are invited to join in a clean-up of the Cathedral yard on Saturday 28th February 2015. Morning Prayer at 6:00 a.m. will precede the cleaning. Persons who are attending should register at the Deanery so that breakfast could be provided for all.
Meeting of Pre-Lenten Barbeque & Food Fair Helpers: Members and interested persons are invited to a planning meeting for the Barbeque and Food Fair at the Deanery on Monday 9th February 2015 at 5:15 p.m. We will be devoting most of the meeting to the Food Fair, so Stall Holders and helpers are especially urged to come and share their ideas with us.
ORDER OF ST. LUKE (OSL) HEALING MISSION: A brochure and registration form giving details of the forthcoming healing weekend 20th -22nd February 2015 were circulated with last weeks bulletin. SUNDAY SCHOOL TEACHERS REQUIRED: Our Sunday Schools are in dire need of teachers. Are there no volunteers to teach our children about Jesus Christ and the love of God? Surely the children are hungry for food. Who would be willing to feed them? Kindly get in touch with the Dean.
