A member of St. Luke’s Episcopal Church, Bronx New York has given a donation of US$100.00 towards the Cathedral Restoration. We sincerely appreciate the gift.
PLANT GROUP: The Plant Group has raised a total of $575.00 from the plant sales on 16th December 2018. The proceeds go towards the Cathedral Restoration. We are truly thankful for the efforts of the group and the patronage of our members.
EVENSONG AT THE CATHEDRAL: There will be Evensong today at 7:00pm. We will have a short break after today until the 3rd February to accommodate the Farewell service and the Prayer service on the 20th and the 27th January respectively.
PARISH VESTRY MEETING: The first meeting of the 2019-2020 Parish Vestry will be convened tomorrow Monday, 14th January at 6:30pm at the Deanery. All members are asked to be present and punctual.

CONFIRMATION CLASSES: Parents and guardians of all confirmation candidates are invited to a meeting tomorrow Monday 14th January at 4:30pm. The meeting is to be convened at the DWLCC. Children are to be present at class from 4:00pm, so they will remain for the meeting.
BIBLE STUDY: Sessions will resume on Tuesday 15th January at the usual times. We encourage all members to fulfil your Christian duty to study God’s word that we may all grow in the knowledge and love of the Lord.
URGENT MEETING: There will be an urgent preliminary meeting of the Pre-Lenten Barbecue and the Annual Caribbean and International Food Fair Committee on Wednesday 16th January at 5:15pm at the Deanery. Please make a special effort to attend.
VISITING GROUP: Next Sunday, 20th January, the District Grand Lodge of Barbados and the Eastern Caribbean will join the 8:15am worshippers at the Cathedral in recognition of the Investiture of Clement E. M. Bird as District Grand Master for Barbados and the Eastern Caribbean. We look forward to welcoming them among us.
WALK UP COLLECTION: The Walk Up Collection will be taken next Sunday.
MUSIC COMMITTEE: There will be a meeting of the Music Committee on Monday 21st January at 5:30pm at the Deanery. All organists and choir directors or representatives are asked to attend.
PRAYER AND HEALING SERVICE: We recognize that an increasing number of members are expressing the need to be prayed for. Therefore a decision was made at the Pastoral Committee to schedule a quarterly Prayer Service. This will be rotated among the various churches in the Parish. We will begin on Sunday 27th January at Good Shepherd.
BLACK HISTORY MONTH: This year, February 3rd is the Sunday when members may come out to church all dressed in African clothing and the hymns will be Negro Spirituals. However, the programme will be on Sunday 24th February. All choirs are to be involved in the programme, so we request that choirs select their pieces and begin early practicing.
CHURCH ORGANIZATIONS: All church organizations that are having fundraisers this year are requested to submit your list of activities by month end. You are also reminded that you are to prepare and submit to the Dean your annual report.
FAREWELL SERVICE: Fr. Raliville Christian has been appointed as Assistant Priest at St. Mary with St. Augustine and St. Andrew in Anguilla as of 1st February 2019. He has served our parish quite well for approximately eight (8) years. Therefore, we invite everyone out for an appreciation farewell service on Sunday 20th January 2019 at 5:00pm.
